How do I play?
Words fall from the top of the screen. Type a word to catch it before it reaches the ground. The first letter you type picks the word. If you make a typo, press delete and try again.
What do the hearts mean?
You start each game with three hearts. A word that reaches the ground costs one heart. Typos cost nothing.
Why doesn't the keyboard autocorrect?
On purpose — Typello turns off autocorrect and suggestions so every letter is really yours.
I removed ads but they came back.
Ad removal turns off the ads shown between levels. The optional Watch ad · 2× coins button remains available. If ads between levels return, open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
Yes, on iPhone. Typello saves a copy of your progress and purchase information in your private iCloud account, so they can move to a new iPhone using the same iCloud account. Studio Kapit cannot access that copy.
How do I turn off the music or sounds?
Open Settings, or pause a game, and switch off Music or Sound effects. On iPhone, the silent switch also mutes the game.
I'm a parent. Is Typello safe for my child?
Typello has no chat, no accounts and no way to contact other players. All words come from a hand-reviewed, child-safe list. Players who say they are under 16 only see ads that are not based on their activity. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Typello saves your data on your device and, on iPhone, a copy in your private iCloud account. Deleting the app does not necessarily delete the iCloud copy. We cannot access or delete your private iCloud data for you. If you emailed us and want that email deleted, just ask.
